SNCIRE is working with a number of other organizations toward creating a regional alliance of economic development stakeholders. As this work progresses, participants have identified the need for a contact list that contains information for the many organizations, economic development offices, agencies and governments in the region. SNCIRE has now posted such a list.

Click here to view (and download) the list, which contains the mailing address, telephone number, fax number, and website for more than 70 organizations, agencies, economic development offices, and governments in the Skeena-Nass region.

SNCIRE attends grant workshop

On May 10, 2011 SNCIRE’s Doug McRae and Kevin Gooden attended a grant writing workshop at the Terrace campus of Northwest Community College. Co-hosted by Terrace Economic Development Authority and Northern Development Initiative Trust (NDIT), the workshop provided valuable information about the grant writing process that will assist SNCIRE in future funding applications.

The workshop, presented by NDIT’s Brodie Guy and Dean McKinley, focused on the seven keys to successful grant writing.
