On March 12, 2013, SNCIRE hosted the Slice of the Green Pie seminar in Terrace to explore Northwest BC's role in the global bio-economy. Experts from the research centre FPInnovations, presented the latest findings about bio-economy opportunities and the most recent efforts to improve the value and competitiveness of conventional forest products. Local speakers provided an update on local initiatives.
